The next Environmental Managers Group meeting is Thursday, September 17th at 11:30 a.m. at the Schnitzelbank Restaurant in Jasper.    

Since many of us manage environmental and safety compliance, I thought it would be good to hear from someone at the Indiana Department of Labor – IOSHA division.  Therefore I’ve lined up Travis Gentry VPP Leader for southern Indiana, and a local resident, to speak about IOSHAs Voluntary Protection Program.   Or as Travis says “Becoming Friends with IOHSA”. 

This will be a good opportunity to learn how you can work with IOSHA to improve safety at your facility, utilize state resources and receive benefits from your efforts.

As always these meeting are free and open to anyone who has an interest.  So please feel free to forward this email to other safety managers.
