New Confined Spaces Standard Effective August 3, 2015

OSHA issued a final standard for construction work in confined spaces, which will take effect August 3, 2015.

This new standard sets requirements for employees engaged in "construction activities" at a worksite with one or more confined spaces.

However, "construction activities" are not just limited to construction firms!

Any organization could be affected by this new rule, especially if they are having their employees do the actual work!
